I’m currently finalizing a dual-timeline novel titled Bequest of Shadows.
The story follows Zoe Lee, a young American woman who inherits a Venetian palazzo–and possibly a lost Caravaggio painting.
Zoe’s story is intertwined with that of Lena Antognetti, a model featured in several of Caravaggio’s works and one the painter’s lovers in early 1600s Rome.
As Zoe tracks the lost painting, she struggles against unknown forces willing do anything to retrieve the lost Caravaggio, including murder.
Zoe’s search is further complicated by her attraction to Aurelio, a mysterious gondolier who may or may not be on her side.
Bequest of Shadows will be released in January, 2027 through Amazon and Laurel Vista Publishing.
